Double Trouble for Hawaii


Early Tuesday morning on my way to the airport, I received a text.  It was Sandie letting me know what she had just heard on the news.  Hawaii is in the path of two hurricanes and one is certain to make contact while we are there.   Egads ….  do you know what kind of mess that can make with flights?  Well, we could have cancelled but we didn't.  However,  since I only bought a one way ticket to get there, I definitely need to rethink how I'm going to return.

They have updated reports from the original 125 mph winds.  Now its down to 70-ish on Friday.  Ten inches of rain and flooding is expected on Thursday.   This could definitely be fun with the backup and cancellation of flights!  Definitely.

    Seems like you had some foresight of changing conditions if you only had one-way tickets :-). Should make for good stories......

    Most people run away from hurricanes. Only you would run (or fly) toward one. Good luck and stay safe.
