Saga of the too Small Swimsuit

”Originality is the fine art of remembering what you hear but forgetting where you heard it.”.
– Laurence Peter

Our dry camping at Fantasy Springs Casino is now history. We moved yesterday morning a few miles down the road to Thousand Trails – Palm Springs. We wanted to arrive early so we would have a good selection of sites. However, we didn’t want to arrive too early before anyone had decided to vacate their spot. That’s exactly what we did though. I drove up and down and up and down and up and down the rows checking out the places we knew would be vacant sometime during the day. Finally Terry asked one of the fellows if we could just pull our car in behind him to secure the spot. He agreed and that’s what we did. Actually, we pulled into our second favorite spot.

Jerry and Janice rode over on their bikes to welcome us and invited us to ttnpspbreakfast at the club house with him. Without setting up that’s just what we did. When we returned we noticed our favorite spot was now vacant. So, we moved our car into it but not for us. Jerry and Janice are now parked in our favorite spot … thanks to us and they’re welcome!

Yesterday we did the returns on items we had purchased, sat outside, went to a sales presentation and soaked up some of the wonderful sunshine. Then, we had a great idea to hit the hot tub. However, we soon had to nix that idea. Terry couldn’t find his swimsuit and mine had shrunk … if you can believe that! I haven’t had it on for a couple of years and even though I can get into it, I certainly wouldn’t wear it anyplace. I’m sure it shrunk. It certainly couldn’t be anything else but that. Today our chore is to go shopping for new ones.

We're also still wanting to redo our dinette area by taking the booths out and replacing with one brown leather computer chair plus one other chair. Finding the right chair is the hard part. After we accomplish that task, we'll move on whether to keep or replace the table. We looked at desks but haven't found anything we would like that's small enough to fit in there so we're still looking and thinking.

Weather is absolutely gorgeous. I almost feel like we’re on vacation! Oh, that’s right, we are.

Things are great!

So how did the swimsuit shopping go today? I'm not even going to try mine on after this last month I know it doesn't fit.
