“If at first you don't succeed, shouldn't you try doing it like your wife told you?”
We still have our dinette booths sitting out front. Certainly there has to be someone who wants them? Next Tuesday is “flea market” day at the park. Everyone who has something to sell is given a ribbon and sets up a table at their site. We’re hoping that’ll be the last day we have them. If not, we’ll either donate the booth or trash it … bit by bit. We certainly don’t have room to carry it with us and we don’t want it. We added a chair and eventually hope to change the table out but need to find something we like first.
< --- Paul & Marsha - They weren’t home though.
Spiker stopped by on his way through Palm Springs. Another lunch was on the agenda. However, this time we really did good. We had a salad instead of going to the buffet and stuffing ourselves. Sometimes we feel like the turkey must when we eat so much! Joe will be heading to his place in Washington State shortly. However, it’s not that he’s staying the
re for the rest of the winter. He has a plane to catch in Seattle for a fishing trip in Mexico.
He educated us on the importance of having ICE listed under “contacts” on our cell phones. ICE stands for In Case of Emergency and it is the first number emergency personnel look for on your phone if you are unable to provide the information to them. We always worried a little about this. Today my phone contact list will also include new ICE numbers. Now I just have to remember to forward our motorhome location on every time we move. If we’re not able to
return, at least we know someone will follow through so Duchess is taken care of and our motorhome isn’t towed.
Today? We’re golfing. Jerry made the arrangements and promised not to laugh. Janice made no promises but we’re off to have a good time. Terry got out the clubs and wiped off the cobwebs. We’re ready to go.
